At the end of my story
I want to have caused a human being the most joy possible
I want to get rid of any insecurities probable
And get them to achieve the happiness that they once considered impossible
I want to take that person home within themselves
Take them to a place in their mind they consider an impermeable paradise
And let them stay there for as long as I live
And I hope that it gives them a wholesomeness even when my days are done
I pray that they find peace in the remembrance of my presence in their lives
I hope that this peace is infectious and it spreads like a plague to everyone in the village
And I hope that I go down in tiny history, not as a lawyer or as an artist
But as a good man
A good and happy man
I hope that this is your prayer, too
