LOVE OR LUST ?

We live in a society where relationships nowadays are majorly based on lust and not love.

People are now dating because of the sexual attraction that the feel to each other rather than true emotion.If you were to ask me, the only similarity between the two is, the alphabetical fact that they both have four letters but other than that,it’s two different worlds apart.

The society as we know it right now is full of so many tormented souls.
Souls that have gone through heartbreak , pregnancies that end up being unwanted and depression all caused by a four letter demon ‘LUST’.

I’m not saying that sexual attraction is bad,but I tend to believe that in this time and generation it’s doing more bad than good.
I mean why would you want to be with someone for the rest of your life just because you craved for sexual fulfillment from them.
It might be fun for the first couple of weeks or months, but what happens when you come to your senses and realize that, it was just sex and that you probably don’t even fully know the person you’ve been sleeping with.

The thing about lust is it doesn’t last. Maybe it’s the way the dress, maybe it’s the way they talk,the way they look at you ,how they speak,how they swayed those hips when they danced, whatever it is that seemed to attract you to them it’s eventually gonna fizzle out.

I’m just gonna go straight to the point and say it’s not healthy for one’s mind ,body and soul to go through the emotional turmoil that comes with its aftermath.

Be wise ,be smart if you’re gonna want to spend what’s left of the rest of your life with somebody, do it with someone you actually love.
It’s worth while when you have someone who knows and understands you.
