The way times seem to be going we are now almost sure that there might be a second wave of coronavirus. This has brought huge concern among the ministry of health workers. Cases are surging far more than the first wave. It’s even frightening how many cases are being recorded in a day. Also considering the number of people that are being tested less than 8,000 tests a day, this shows that the cases are way more than we think. So far more than 70,000 cases have been reported and less than 1,000,000 Kenyans been tested. This does not seem that much of an effort as countries like China are testing more than 14million individuals a week. We may not be wrong to say that we are not quite as good as they are. Although there are 70,000 cases it may seem almost good in a way as some countries are recording the same number of cases in a day and a very dismaying number of deaths. So far the death toll in Kenya is 1,269 lives. We should not pretend that there is no coronavirus. A second wave is real and if good we do not take good care of ourselves we will find ourselves at the mercy of the disease.
